The Friends of the Concord Covered Bridge invite you to attend a special Annual Meeting of the organization on Sunday, May 19, 2019 at 3:00 PM. It will be at WellStar Vinings Health Park Chattahoochee Community Room at 4441 Atlanta Rd SE, Smyrna, Ga 30080.
Trevor Beemon, Executive Director Cobb Landmarks & Historical Society/William Root House Museum and Garden, is our guest speaker.
James Hudgens, Cobb County Department of Transportation, will present drawings of the new hanging chains to help deter oversized vehicles from entering the Concord Covered Bridge Historic District.
This meeting offers the opportunity to network with other preservationists from Cobb County, meet Historic District neighbors, discover activities and initiatives Friends have accomplished.
Please come to learn about the exciting activities and initiatives we have planned for the coming year, including our Historic District Tour of Homes. We would love to hear your thoughts and ideas as well.
Light refreshments will also be served. The meeting will be held in the Chattahoochee Community Room. After you enter the main lobby, walk straight back towards the Elevators and then turn right into the hallway just past Starbucks & Pharmacy. Look for our directional signs.
